    Katie De Araujo Jorge, CRNA

    CO-FOUNDER/INJECTOR

Hello Wilco! I was born and raised in Wilson County and as a local girl I am always looking for a way to bring the best things to the place I love! I have always loved science and learning which has led me to a lifelong career in healthcare. I obtained a biology degree from Lipscomb University (2005) while working in the Emergency department. Followed by a Nursing degree from the University of Memphis (2006) and spent some quality time in the Medical and Neuro ICU. The culmination of my university career, but certainly not my learning is a Master of Science in Anesthesia from Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia (2012).

For the past 12 years I have cultivated my anesthesia career in pain management. Meeting a series of influential people in my life, a love of learning, all things beautiful, fostering relationships, building confidence in people and obviously AGING prompted a slow shift of my thoughts towards a career in aesthetics! Spending a career watching people care for themselves and age well or the opposite has inspired a passion for health and wellness in my life.

I have a beautiful family that inspires me everyday to maintain my health goals. My 3 kids, Garrett, Caroline and Abby keep me young and entertained. When I’m not working, you’ll find me planning our next adventure, “homesteading” aka gardening and chicken momming (Thanks Covid Quarantine), thinking about the people I love, running, reading, or playing tennis!

    Shauna Bowers, FNP-C

    CO-FOUNDER/INJECTOR

Hello Wilson County aka Wilco I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a 15+ year nursing career in Nashville, TN. I graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Union University. I worked as an acute care nurse from 2007-2017 amidst getting married and raising babies. While working in the hospital I learned so much about the human body and our ability to adapt and survive many circumstances. I also learned that life is short and not guaranteed, which is why I decided to keep pushing myself toward my passion of becoming an advanced practice nurse. In 2019 I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Upon graduating I immediately began my education and training as an aesthetic injector. The ability to savor beauty by blending science and art is a delicate skill that requires time and discipline to cultivate. Now, almost 3 years later I am ready to share my aesthetics practice with the world and continue my evolution as a provider.

When not at work you can find me playing tennis, reading a book, enjoying nature, or trying to cook! I am a perpetual learner, so who knows maybe one day I will find myself in culinary school, ha! Travel is my guilty pleasure. I live for fall weather, thrive in chaos, overshare and sing in the shower. One of the greatest joys of my life is connecting people. I am excited to be on this journey, and I am glad you are here with me!

She’s worked as an ICU nurse at St. Thomas West for 7 years and as an ICU nurse practitioner at Cardiovascular Anesthesiology for almost 8 years.

Now, She’s starting a new chapter in my career as an aesthetician with Glow Wilco. She’s certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botulinum toxin and Dermal filler, and She’s here to help you achieve your beauty goals.

  • Kacy Cioccia

She works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include lifestyle modifications, nutrition, advanced testing, and targeted therapies to support long-term health and vitality.

At Glow, Kacy will be seeing patients for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), peptide therapy, and medical weight loss, helping clients optimize their health, energy, and overall well-being.

    Kenzie Karr, BSN, RN

    REGISTERED NURSE

Kenzie was born in Nashville and raised in Mt. Juliet. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2017 as a Registered Nurse and was accepted into Vanderbilt's Nurse Residency Program in the NeuroICU. While she loved her time at the hospital she knew it wasn't long term so she stepped into orthopaedics but then quickly found her way into plastic surgery and aesthetics working under one of Nashville's Top Plastic Surgeons. Kenzie moved to Sarasota and continued to work in plastic surgery in the operating room. Being close to family is important so after she was born, they moved back to Nashville. Kenzie's experience as a Nurse Injector is unique because she has had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of facial anatomy through all different lenses while maintaining a conservative approach. It is her goal to build a relationship with patients built on trust. She is so excited to bring her knowledge and love for aesthetics to Wilson County!

While she loves what she does for her career, being a mom is her greatest accomplishment! You can find her spending time with her husband and son, shopping, on the lake, spending time outside, or at the beach!
